95% Success for Diabetic Neuropathy Treatment

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR NEW PATIENTS

We are a SPECIALIZED DIABETES TREATMENT CENTER offering a revolutionary, FDA Approved method of managing diabetes, named Physiologic Insulin Resensitization (PIR). We have worked with diabetic neuropathy patients for over eight years, so we know how debilitating and sometimes life threatening, this disease can be.

Diabetic patients on a regular basis tell us that despite their best efforts to follow conventional diabetic treatment regimens, they still develop secondary complications that continue to progress and worsen?

Unlike these traditional treatments, our PIR applies today’s latest technology to scientific principles known to medical professionals for decades. We believe our approach represents an enormous step forward in the treatment of diabetes and other metabolic disorders.

The question, however, is how do our patients feel? Typically, within a few WEEKS of PIR treatments, patients report experiencing increased energy, restful sleep, decreased neuropathy pain, decreased medications, and a lower HgbA1c. A vast majority of patients who start PIR treatments report that they feel so good, they will never stop.

PIR has been used for over a decade in many countries. Since being introduced in the U.S. in 2017 it is now available in over 30 States and we are proud to be the first clinic to offer it in Connecticut. We brought this revolutionary treatment into our clinic because we feel physicians can do more than just hope for better glycemic control, while patients deteriorate and have their complications progress.

We do not replace your endocrinologist, but we will work with your doctor to manage your diabetes optimally. We are confident that once you learn more about PIR, you will be as excited as we are, to incorporate this into your diabetes management program.

Do you know anyone with Parkinson’s Disease? Not only can PIR provide life changing outcomes for diabetic patients, but it is also used in many Longevity Clinics for Anti-Aging, Peak Performance and can be an incredibly effective treatment for reversing the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease.

“After working in internal medicine for over 25 years, I have seen the devastating complications that diabetes can cause in a person’s health and qualify of life.

PIR (Physiologic Insulin Resensitization) treatment addresses diabetes at its core problems instead of only suppressing symptoms.

If you have diabetes and think it is “fine” or “under control”, using your traditional method of diabetes management, you can still experience significant benefits from this new approach.

The most common remarks heard from people receiving this therapy is that they report feeling “more energy, better sleep, weight loss, less body and nerve pain, walking better and feeling normal again”.

I am extremely proud to be part of the team at Connecticut Diabetes Center in bringing this revolutionary treatment to Connecticut.”

Diabetic complications can develop over time, often resulting in severe health issues and poor quality of life!

Unlike Conventional Medicine Treatments that just suppress SYMPTOMS, Physiologic Insulin Resensitization actually addresses the underlying cause of diabetes. As a result there is the potential to REVERSE THE COURSE OF THE DISEASE. Using conventional diabetes treatments, the path of this disease for most, is developing MANY secondary health complications caused by diabetes, resulting in a sharp decline in health as you age. Because P.I.R. addresses the causation of diabetes, many of these complications can be avoided, reduced and in some cases even eliminated with this new revolutionary treatment. P.I.R. is the treatment that diabetics have been waiting for, and most who elect to include it as part of their diabetes management regimen, will significantly improve their health, longevity and quality of life!

Schull Institute Study Insulin Infusion Therapy on Diabetic Complications (Oct 27, 2015) Retrospective, observational study (n=60) reported:

Enhancing cellular energy promotes the growth, repair, and regeneration of damaged tissues and organs. This approach has proven effective in stabilizing and, in certain instances, reversing diabetes and other metabolic disorder complications.

This groundbreaking FDA-approved method, backed by extensive research, is countering the devastating impact of diabetes on the human body.

So, what is PIR? Physiologic Insulin Resensitization represents a revolutionary, multi-patented strategy for addressing the core issue of diabetes—metabolic dysfunction—by utilizing insulin as a hormone rather than a mere drug. By faithfully replicating the body’s natural insulin process, we tackle insulin resistance and promote efficient glucose entry into cells, where it can be converted into vital energy. The outcomes are truly remarkable, giving hope to countless individuals struggling with diabetes.

Elevating cellular energy levels empowers compromised tissues and organs to grow, mend, and rejuvenate. Research has consistently shown the potential of this approach in not only stabilizing but, in some cases, reversing the effects of diabetes and other metabolic challenges.

Fun Fact: Across the United States, numerous Anti-Aging and Peak Performance Clinics are incorporating PIR to promote longevity, support weight loss, offer preventive care, and mitigate the effects of aging including dementia.

Not so Fun Fact: As per data from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), a 2022 study showed that a 50-year-old individual with diabetes is projected to have a lifespan that’s 6 years shorter than that of a non-diabetic counterpart.

If you know anyone suffering from Parkinson’s Disease, PIR has been known to consistently deliver life-changing reversal of symptoms! Be sure to have them give us a call!

Frequently Asked Questions

Does insurance cover PIR treatment?

We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare. In cases where we are not in-network with your plan, our insurance experts will guide you in assessing your coverage. After obtaining your insurance details, we will examine your coverage, ensuring that your financial responsibility is consistent with standard co-pays, coinsurance, or deductibles.

What type of diabetes does insurance cover?

Insurance typically covers this treatment for individuals with Pre-Diabetes, Type I Diabetes, and Type II Diabetes.

What’s the first step?

The first step involves scheduling a consultation, during which we’ll assess your specific circumstances and physical health. Our medical doctor will review your medical history, explain the treatment in detail, and tailor it to your needs. This consultation is crucial for determining your eligibility and designing a personalized care plan, usually taking 30 to 60 minutes. If your recent blood work is not current, you may be asked to come prepared for blood tests.

What does the initial consultation consist of?

You will have the opportunity to meet with our medical doctor, who will carefully assess your medical history, physical condition, and provide an in-depth explanation of the treatment. This consultation plays a pivotal role in establishing your eligibility and crafting a tailor-made care plan. On average, these consultations run between 30 to 60 minutes. In cases where your recent blood work is not current, you may be requested to come prepared for additional blood tests.

How often will I be taking treatments?

Since every individual is unique, your personalized care plan will be crafted during your consultation, which will include an initial “Induction Phase” followed by a “Maintenance Phase.”

Do you replace my Endocrinologist or do I need a referral?

We do not replace your primary care physician and do not require a referral or approval. PIR has the potential to reduce or even eliminate the need for diabetic drugs or traditional insulin medications, so we collaborate with your doctor to co-manage your care plan. Given that this is a relatively new approach, and many physicians use insulin as a drug rather than a hormone, your doctor may not be fully informed about this patented treatment protocol. We are more than willing to arrange a peer-to-peer review at your doctor’s convenience with our medical director. Feel free to have your doctor review this information and reach out to us with any inquiries.

What if I don’t have health insurance or would like to get PIR for anti-aging or a medical condition other than diabetes?

Why is Alzheimer’s referred to as type 3 diabetes?

The exact connection between Alzheimer’s Disease and type 2 diabetes is still in debate. However, poorly controlled blood sugar may increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s. This relationship is so strong that some have called Alzheimer’s “diabetes of the brain” or “type 3 diabetes.

Why is diabetes called a silent killer?

Diabetes is commonly known in the medical community as “the silent killer.” This is because diabetes destroys the nerve cells that control pain, so conditions like neuropathy can occur where a patient can develop a silent heart attack. In addition, diabetes can also contribute to high blood pressure which puts you at an increased risk for heart disease, heart failure, and stroke, among other things.
